Applications are used by the Board’s Nominating Committee to identify and evaluate potential Associate Member candidates. All new members are elected by a majority vote of current board members. 

ASSOCIATE MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Serve a minimum of a two (2) year term on the Associate Committee. 
  2. Attend a minimum of ten (10) Associate Member meetings (in person or virtual). The Associate Committee meets the last Thursday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 
  3. Attend a minimum of 7 events per year (includes committee meetings and CFF events, partnering agency events, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities representing CFF). 
  4. Make a serious commitment to participate actively in CFF committee work. CFF is a working board where each director chairs a committee, so we ask the same of our Associate Members. 
  5. Stay informed about Associate Committee matters, be prepared for meetings, and review and comment on minutes and reports. 
  6. Build a collegial working relationship with other board and committee members.
  7. Participate in promoting the good name of CFF, including HISTORY/MISSION/VISION/OBJECTIVES/CODE OF ETHICS/PROGRAMS/PROJECTS/EVENTS.
  8. Participate in the advancement of the strategic plan of CFF (see power point) including fundraising and member recruitment.
