December is the month of sharing and giving, being surrounded by family and friends and creating lifetime memories, but the reality for a large number of our community is that the holidays is when they feel most left out, abandoned and alone.
California Families in Focus  would like to invite the community, businesses and organizations  to help make a difference in the lives of women and children escaping domestic violence, living in shelters during the holidays.

17th Annual Spirit of Christmas Brunch, which will benefit women and children living in domestic violence shelters. Our theme this year is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and our event will be decorated in the theme and center around the message of LOVE.

Each year the CFF Board of Directors, Associate Committee, local businesses and community organizations hold a clothing drive where they collect pajamas, socks, underwear, beanie, gloves, scarves, gift cards and recruit monetary donations for this special holiday event.

This year’s Spirit of Christmas Brunch was take place Saturday, December 19, 2020 at an undisclosed shelter from 11:00am-1:00pm and will include a catered brunch, photos with Santa, Karaoke and dance contest, photo booth, empowerment speakers, awards presentation, entertainment, and DJ Donaldo Reed playing happy music for our guests to enjoy and have fun.  Due to the increasing pandemic infections rates, to ensure the safety for our participants and volunteers, we have decided to deliver “The Grinch who stole Christmas ” gift bags and a pre-recorded empowerment presentation followed by Netflix Party link to watch “The Grinch who stole Christmas” .
