Throughout the year CFF Volunteers coordinate ongoing donation drives in partnership with the Center for Community Engagement at CSULB, where students can do a 20-hour internship with CFF and learn how to coordinate these much-needed donation drives.

We are always accepting backpacks, office supplies and school supplies, which include: Plastic and paper folders, 1inch/2 inch binders, pens, pencils, color pencils, markers, rulers, coloring books, lined filler paper, water colors, erasers, pencil sharpeners, staplers, paper clips, color paper, poster boards, liquid glue, glue sticks, colored pipe cleaners, jewelry supplies, t-shirt making supplies, such as iron-on vinyl, permanent sticking vinyl, transfer tape and t-shirts.

During COVID personal hygiene kits, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, liquid soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair brushes, deodorant, lotion, razors, shaving cream, wash cloths, bath towels, socks, muscle shirts, boxers, female undergarments and feminine products and so forth. During winter months, we also take beanies, scarves, gloves, sweaters/coats and medium foldable blankets. We also accept new or gently used clothing with no stains or rips are preferred.

At the end of their 20-hour internship, CFF send all Interns a certificate and thank you letter, so they know we appreciate them and that they are now part of the California Families in Focus Tribe.
